Fay Evans and Matt Goodfellow – March 2023

Author and illustrator Fay Evans came to visit and work with our EYFS and KS1 children. We were very lucky and got to listen to her read her new story Dave the Whale. The children transformed into the characters in the story and helped to re-tell this beautiful tale.

Poet Matt Goodfellow enjoyed working with our KS2 children throughout the day. He shared a wealth of knowledge with the children and inspired them to want to write poetry. They are all looking forward to their next poetry writing unit after working closely with him!

Andrea Bowker Visit – March 2022

Author and Illustrator Andrea Bowker worked with all children in EYFS and KS1. She shared her book ‘Rab and His Lucky Shell’ and then completed craft based activities afterwards. The children were very excited to have their book signed by a real author!
